Universal Studios in Orlando

Two weeks ago, Eric's parents came to visit.  It was SO MUCH fun having them here, and they stayed for ten days.  We had a blast, and the kids did too!  We were lucky enough to get tickets to Universal Studios here in Orlando.  We went one day with Tom and Jan, and then another day Eric and I took Ava while Tom and Jan stayed at our place and watched Silas (there wasn't a whole lot for Silas to do there).  Universal Studios has two parks.  One is called Islands of Adventure, and the other is Universal.  Here are all of my pictures from those two days:

Eating at Bubba Gump's Restaurant.  Very yummy!!!

Harry Potter

This was a crazy water ride where you are guaranteed to get soaked!!

Ava needed a little lift.  It was a lot of walking. :-)

Bumblebee from Transformers!

He was pretty cool!

We did not go on this, but this roller coaster looked crazy!!!  Straight up!

WE HAD A BLAST!!!!

Keeping busy with Daycare!

The daycare business is starting to get a little busier now, which makes for some crazy days, but I like it.  The days go faster when there are more kiddos here, and the extra money sure is nice!  Most of this has been thanks to Eric's place of employment, as my newest full-time baby and a few of my drop-ins last week are all kids of Sanford Burnham employees.  Makes for good business!  Silas loves having kids come to play.  It is good for him, as he is not the best at sharing his toys yet, and it gives him the opportunity to work on it! :-)  Plus, he has really surprised me at how gentle and loving he is with the little ones.  He is rough and tough little brute, and we call him our football player, but he knows already to be careful around the babies, and he is always saying, "Hi, baby!" to them, and trying to give them hugs and kisses.  It is pretty adorable!!  Here are some of my daycare pics:
Oliver - 2 years old

Delaney - 9 months old (Oliver and Delaney are brother and sister)

Oliver, Silas, Delaney, Jack, and Daisy, all in Silas's room (with Mom visiting and supervising them for me!)

Lorelai - 4 months old

Lorelai (4 months old) and Delaney (9 months old)- This picture gives you an idea of just how small Delaney is for a 9 month old.  Just about the same size as the little 4 month old!

My kiddos with Ava holding baby Lorelai

Jack - 14 months old

Oliver (2) just fell asleep playing in Silas's room. :-)

Delaney (9 months) and Lorelai (4 months) checking each other out.

I think Lorelai was trying to figure out how Delaney was sitting up like that!

Alex (12 months)

Silas, Alex (12 months) and Amelia (19 months)

Crazy, huh?  I am super busy, but the kiddos are adorable and definitely make days go by fast!!  And now everyone will understand why sometimes my house is a disaster zone, and might look like a tornado just went through!  Lots of days my toy room looks like this:
And this is probably pretty mild! :-)

Just to end this post, here is a picture of why Silas keeps me so busy:
This activity table is kept on the other side of his bedroom.  He picks it up, carries it over to this spot almost everyday, climbs up on it, and plays with all the light switches and that remote that is hanging on the wall.  He is my crazy one!!
