Ava is sleeping over at her friend Taylor's house tonight, and she is super excited. I am a little nervous for her, but thankfully Taylor just lives two blocks away, so if Ava changes her mind at about 11:00 p.m., we can just run down there and get her.
Silas is still Silas, and not a whole lot new to report. He keeps us all super busy, and goes a mile a minute at all times. He is talking more, and this week started saying the words, "Shoes" and "Daisy" pretty clear. Still no "Mama" so it is great to know that after carrying him for nine months, nursing him for 18 months, and staying home with him every single day, I still come after the darn dog! :-)
I thought I would just post some pictures from this week, as those are always fun to look at!
Ava trying to show off the static electricity in her hair on the trampoline.
The boys just relaxing while Ava gives them "a ride" on the trampoline.
Silas taking his baby for a walk. Cute!!
As you will see from pictures, he is almost always wearing his Iowa Hawkeyes hat.
Isn't this where your plate goes when you are finished eating??
All that playing makes a little boy super thristy!
Back to work in the sand box.
Daisy is such a good, patient dog with him! And he LOVES to walk her. :-)
This duck would not stop following him. It was cute until a crane joined in, and then we walked faster. Those things still freak me out a little bit.
This was after Ava's Girl Scouts meeting last night. She is with her two closet friends, Ashlynn and Taylor Jo. Taylor is in the middle, and the one Ava is staying the night with tonight.
That about sums up our week. Like I said, not too eventful which is nice! Ava has (ANOTHER) birthday party to go to tomorrow at Monkey Joe's. She has never been there, so I think she is excited for that. I just wish this kids would space out their birthday parties a little more, as it is getting expensive for us!! :-) I hope everyone has a great weekend!!
